What does 带飞 mean?

带飞 means a strong player “carries and flies” weaker teammates to a win — 带 is “to bring along,” 飞 is “to fly,” as if victory lifts everyone off the ground. The classic plea 求带飞 (“please carry me!”) fills every game's lobby, and 带飞我 (“carry me!”) is typed the moment a pro joins the room. It flipped from gaming into workplaces and schools: a star colleague who makes the whole team's numbers look good 带飞全组, a tutor who guarantees exam scores 带飞全班. Being 带飞'd is a happy admission of weakness — you contribute what you can, and let the 大神 do the flying.

Where does 带飞 come from?

带飞 rose with mobile gaming's social boom around 2018–2019, especially 王者荣耀, where ranked climbing was often done by dragging less-skilled friends up the ladder. “带妹上分” (carrying girls up the ranks) was big business for skilled players, and 求带飞 became the standard greeting between strangers in game lobbies. Its leap to office slang was natural: the same generation that begged carries in game now jokes about which colleague can 带飞 the quarterly numbers.
